It’s been too long since I’ve posted any photos here on my site.
I keep taking them — I take them all the time, whenever a moment pops up and I have the chance to capture it — but I often need to do a bit of tweaking before I’m happy with how the final products look. And I haven’t taken the needed time to do that in too long.
Part of the reasoning for that is just general busyness this summer, as I’ve been writing about. Another part is that I have two usual go-tos for filters on two different apps that help me get my photos, at least some of them, to look more like the way that I saw them. Well, recently one of those apps changed its user interface pretty drastically, including the naming system it used for its filers, and I think new ones added. So now I literally don’t know where that one go-to has… well… gone to. If it’s even available any more.
It’ll take some testing and fiddling around with various filters to see what I can manage to find works well. And that’ll take some time. Which I haven’t had much of late, and don’t have at the moment, but may present itself come September.
Meanwhile, as the opening pic demonstrates, sometimes everything comes together and all I have to do is crop it and end up very happy with it.
